Skilled Worker Program

There is a non-refundable membership fee of £250 which is payable at the application stage. This fee will cover the onboarding interview with one of our Program Mentors who will run through your skills, education, and what kind of job you are looking for. This fee also covers 12-months membership to the FCF Academy, which provides access to webinars, member news, networking opportunities amongst other benefits.

Once the Program Mentor has assessed whether you will benefit from the Program they will run through the costs for the Program and send you an invoice which you will need to pay before the start of the Program.

Given the high threshold set by the UK Government for the Skilled Worker visa, we do have minimum requirements that prospective members need to fulfil to be accepted onto the Program.

The minimum requirements include:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional work experience in a relevant field of work.
• No significant gaps in CV (one year or more) unless explained with good reason, which needs to be approved by FCF Academy.
• Minimum B2 level of English as defined by the Home Office, and an advanced level of spoken and written English.
• Stable internet access and a laptop.
• Agreement that FCF Academy will make improvements to your CV.
• Understanding of the UK Government Home Office Skilled Worker visa.
• Written acceptance and understanding of FCF Academy Skilled Worker Service Agreement.
• Payment of fees to FCF Academy within seven days of invoice.

The 8-week training can be done at a time that is convenient to you. However, we will send you tutorials and assignments every week and it is advised that you complete them within one week as they will help you in your job search.

You will receive the tutorials and exercises on Monday giving you a week to complete the work. If you get stuck, you will be able to email your FCF Academy Program Mentor for assistance.

The Skilled Worker Program focuses on developing the skills and knowledge of its members to find a job in the UK.
